Wyntergrave Press

How your details are handled

Short version: I keep your email address so I can write to you, and nothing else happens to it.

Who holds it

Wyntergrave Press, 1 Route d’Ableiges, 95520 Osny, France. Written to at nell@wyntergravehall.com. Nell Ravensworth is a pen name; the responsible person behind it is the one named at that address.

Three separate things, asked for separately

Nothing here is bundled. Each of the three has its own request, and saying yes to one is never taken as saying yes to another.

1. The Postscript. Your email address, so that the confession and the Twenty-Fifth Case can be sent to you, followed by two short notes over the week after — one asking how the book went, one asking for a review. That is the whole of it. This rests on your consent, given by submitting the form and confirming it from your inbox.

2. The Wyntergrave Casebook. A case on the first Sunday of the month. This is a different list with a different request, offered only after the Postscript has reached you. Asking for the Postscript does not put you on it, and you can have the Postscript and never hear from me again.

3. The guest register. Your first name and town, only if you ticked that box — which is separate, and never ticked for you. It covers one thing: printing your first name and town among the names in a future Wyntergrave Mystery. It is not required for anything else, and you can withdraw it while keeping everything else.

And, unavoidably: whether you opened a letter or clicked a link. Ordinary delivery statistics. They tell me whether the letters are arriving at all.

Who else sees it

Brevo, a company in the European Union, sends the letters and stores the list on my behalf. They act on my instructions and for no other purpose. Nobody else receives your details, and they are not sold, rented, or traded — not now, and not if this ever becomes a larger enterprise.

How long

Until you leave. Every letter carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately and needs no explanation. After that your address is removed, except for the minimal record required to make sure I never write to you again by mistake. If you are on both lists and want to leave only one, say so and I will do exactly that.

What you can ask for

A copy of what I hold, a correction, deletion, or a withdrawal of consent for the register while staying on the list. Write to nell@wyntergravehall.com and I will do it — there is no form and no delay beyond the time it takes me to read the message. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom and you think I have handled this badly, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
